Start with the service your buyer needs
A clean website is only part of the picture. A prospective buyer may ask an AI assistant for a provider before opening any business’s site. ACE starts with what you actually sell, who you serve and the geography that matters. We distinguish a search for your name from a question that could lead a new buyer to you.
Record the answer, not just a score
For each observed question, ACE records the exact wording, search or AI surface, time, business mentions and visible source links. An ordinary web result is not labeled an AI recommendation. When a provider needs a login, limits access or does not expose all its sources, we record that limit rather than treating it as evidence that your business is absent.
We keep a mention of your business separate from a citation of your domain or a particular page. A similarly named company is not counted as you without enough identity evidence. The available provider set and number of observations are stated in the check; we do not promise coverage of every assistant.
Compare the evidence behind discovery
Where visible sources are available, we inspect the referenced public pages and compare them with your own supported service information. A missing answer or inconsistent identity can become a proposed improvement. A competitor’s citation is an observation—not proof that its page format caused that citation or that it took a customer from you.
Hypothetical example—not an ACE result
A buyer asks for a provider of a specific service. The recorded answer mentions two businesses and links to one service page. Your business is not mentioned in that answer. The honest finding is “not observed for this question on this surface at this time.” The next task is to inspect the relevant public evidence and repeat the question later, not calculate lost revenue from the omission.
Keep five evidence layers separate
- Website readiness: what the site exposes and whether covered pages are accessible.
- Observed discovery: a dated search result, AI mention or citation.
- Visits: referral or search traffic where authorized measurement exists.
- Inquiries: real contact or Visibility Check submissions.
- Commercial outcomes: qualified leads, customers and attributable revenue supported by business records.
An improvement in one layer does not establish an improvement in the next. A visitor’s optional “How did you find ACE?” answer is self-report; it is kept separate from browser referral signals.
What happens after the free check?
A person reviews the reply before it is sent. You receive the bounded findings, what could not be established and a useful next step. No website credentials are needed, nothing is changed on your site, and the check creates no obligation. Implementation and any continuing measurement are separately scoped paid work; see current services and pricing.
If work is agreed, ACE prepares supported changes with exact review and rollback material. Changes need the applicable authorization. After application, ACE independently verifies the covered result. Discovery should then be observed again using the same questions; a recrawl or different answer is not immediate or guaranteed.
What this cannot tell you
A single answer cannot establish global invisibility, market share or how many customers you lost. Results can vary by question, provider, session and time. ACE cannot promise rankings, citations, recommendations, traffic, inquiries or revenue. A provider that was unavailable remains untested.
